There's no place like home. Greenville Actors led by Director Margaret Carey McCray staged The Color Purple Dress Rehearsal on Wensday Night. Stella performances were the norm in this production. The characters came alive with each movement and the music was flawless. The audience ranged from six years old to 80 and all through the performance the range of emotion in the audience said one thing, Great Work. As a photographer you can see that I was totally into this production. I haven't had time to edit everything so if you see a glitch or two don't hold it against me I just had to share these with you. I applaud Greenville and the surrounding communities for supporting all of the fantastic productions put on at Bass Auditorium by people who enjoy the theater and practicing the Craft of Acting. You can be sure some of these small time players someday will grace the big screen regularly. Thanks to the entire Cast, NO ONE HAD MORE FUN THAN I DID.
For best slide show viewing listen to Marvin Gays Pride and Joy, Jimmie Mack by Martha Reeves and The Vandellas, Ray Charles I got a Woman, Etta James At Last, Isac Hays By the Time I get to Pheonix, The Four Tops Sugar Pie Hunny Bunch.
