When Odelia called and said she had a job for me, I thought it would be great to photograph a 14 year old Get Well Party. I didn't know that KenJavius had heart trouble since birth. I didn't know that he spent a great deal of his life living with an illness that stopped him from being a kid. I've photographed many parties and many children. This is one that won't be forgotten or viewed as a typical gig. KenJavius and the Drake family demonstrated today what Love is all about. The ability to come together as one in unity to support a family member bringing joy and genuine respect and love to a forum where everyone can see it is a treasure that every family wants and needs. As you view these photographs remember that the Photographer was moved by what he saw. Thanks to the entire family especially the little kids. Thank you for reminding Mister Jones how to have fun. If I sub in your class I promise not to write anyone up for at least a week (smile). KenJavius get well my Young Friend and much success to you in everything you do.
